More pictures anon, kind and patient Visitors!
For the moment, just a note on an unsettling dream -- I do love dreams in their deep strangeness, however unpleasant...
I slept last night after brooding over various and irreparable blunders, and dreamt that I was arriving late and in the night at a hotel room in some distant city. It was a dim and ordinary room. As I approached the bed, I saw its covers were mussed, though it appeared empty. Then I perceived a dreadful thing protruding from under the blanket: it was a strange naked foot on a bone-thin leg, human-seeming yet somehow wrong. It took a moment of loathsome staring to see that in place of toes, the foot possessed human fingers, long and curled, and somewhere, I think, a thumb.
There was no place for the rest of a body in those deflated bed clothes.
when we open up ourselves to magical realms we get in touch with beautiful beings who enlighten our lives, however, we also become more perceptive and many other messages get through as well, not necessarily good, not necessarily bad... i just mean that when we open up the door we must beware and filter very carefully whatever we let into our lives, but on the other hand, it might also be a perfectly positive but horrid and upsetting message!!! he he, you know how faeries work!!!

Intriguing...
Perhaps it's touching on something going on within yourself regarding your creations? The fingers on the wrong part of the body, creating clumsiness...the body in general, missing. Not fully participating...
Just some things that immediately come to mind.
I too, have been having a slew of surreal dreams as of late...and I relish attempting to decode them.

FOReST,
When i read this, as Carisa pointed out, the first thing that i thought of was your intricate work that you did on the last piece of work that you shared... her bony, wrinkly fingers and toes, her face and the sharp bony limbs and nails... the details and the research would certainly come back to haunt me also...
It is a beautiful, detailed, exquisite and haunting piece of work.
Dreams are a fascinating look into our inner most thoughts.

Indeed, Carla! Well said. Thanks for commenting on this one!
Yes indeed, Jessica; what would we do without the occasional creepy night image to intrigue the waking mind...
An insightful interpretation, Carisa... I must ponder that one! First, I just relish the creepiness... And hey -- I'd love to hear some of your own surreal dreams!
Thank you ever, Joanna! :)
